If we had a dollar for every time we had a conversation with a client or candidate about market compensation for a role, we might already be retired. For two years running, we’ve run a survey of market compensations across all functions and all venture stages, focused on executives at the Director level and above. We didn’t
just want to get better data to answer the basic questions. We were also curious about the other variables that affect compensation – gender, race, negotiating,

HEALTH TALENT LEADER COMMUNITY + RESOURCE CENTER
2020 led many organizations to reconsider how they engage with their employees and prospective candidates. Compounded with obstacles, such as
maintaining strong employee engagement in a remote environment, many doubled-down on their efforts to create effective diversity, equity, and inclusion
(DEI) strategies. This led us to develop a series of Health Talent Leader Roundtables, or as we candidly refer to it – “group therapy” for Talent Leaders (VP of
Talent, Head of People, etc.) across our industry. The roundtables enable small groups of 8-10 peers to come together (virtually of course) to speak openly,
share ideas, and build a sense of community during this trying time. It also led us to build a resource center, aggregating useful content into one place for
leaders to inform their strategies.
